The industry ran into drastic changes, apparently, and nobody in particular is to blame, least of all the person saying it. Verploegen’s trumpet does the part the HR script leaves out entirely, one long, unfiltered scream where the euphemisms finally run out and what’s left is just the fact of it: someone’s life, restructured out of existence, one acronym at a time.
